Monica is motivated by a desire to improve the affordability and accessibility of healthcare. Her experience working with health systems, hospitals, provider groups, and payers has given her a unique perspective on and appreciation for the complexity of challenges facing the healthcare system today. Monica’s clients value her ability to diligently navigate ambiguous situations and craft stories using data. She is highly invested in the long-term success of her clients’ strategy and performance.
Before joining ECG, Monica attended University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. During her time in graduate school, she was an MBA consultant at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she produced a plan to scale the Patient-Centered Utilization Guidance Services business from $800,000 to $5 million to $10 million in revenue over five years. Prior to graduate school, Monica worked as a project and relationship manager at BetterDoctor, a health data start-up that validates and delivers accurate provider data. She collaborated with health plan and provider group clients to set up data exchange processes, train on export files, and identify client needs, with annual health plan client revenue growing eightfold to $4.2 million in one year.
